In response to "Ebay is ridiculous! My Buy It Now item did require the buyer to pay it for right away. The buyer did not. But ebay marked the item as sold AND already" by James Bond (aka phone)

Well, yes, technically it had been "sold". There are areas on the transaction history to mark as "Paid" and "Shipped", and then feedback left/received

And were you physically charged money? Money was taken from your Paypal account? It's more then likely that an invoice was generated for payments due. It's automatically generated once a month (the day differs per account) for selling fees. I doubt ebay has the ability/capacity to check every single seller's transaction history. "Oh, wait. This one hasn't received payment for this item yet. Let's not charge him the seller fee." Not how it works. You receive an invoice and then the amount you owe is deducted weeks later.

I understand that you are upset the buyer didn't pay, but a lot of this is standard ebay selling procedure. I'd suggest you read up on how to be a seller/what happens when an item is listed/sold, because a lot of your outrage on this is misplaced.
