of which there is varying qualities. I would have a hard time imagining BBQ and/or burgers ever reaching the level of "foodie". Of course, I love BBQ and burgers, so there's no value judgement there!

To me, it's like saying "Oh, I'm such a nerd, I watched Lincoln." Uh... how does that make you a nerd again?
