and state patty's day is worse. it started in 2007 because st. patrick's day fell on spring break. students

were like, yo, we want to celebrate with our friends, and they invented SPD.
however, since then, st. patrick's day has not happened over spring break and it's another day to get shit-faced. people party bus in for the day. two years ago, jonathan refused to drive my car downtown because he was afraid of hitting people in a car he didn't own. last year, on my way home sunday morning, I counted over 100 empty beer cans and solo cups in .8 miles.
it's a shitshow. it's horrific. it needs to stop, but this isn't the way. fines are the way.
