I'd be interested to know what percentage of flowers, from any vendor, are poor quality.
in my experience, the size of places doesn't necessarily matter - I've received/given from littler places/FTD franchises/ProFlowers, 1800, etc. It seems they're all hit or miss; and usually they don't complain much about requests for replacements, so they know what's what.
the only sure thing I've found are local specialty places that are extra spendy - you're not just paying for more interesting and artistic displays, but I think they don't want to have to deal with replacements.
