every single piece on a rig is tagged with an RFID tag.. a worker with an iPad can scan the tag, pull up info, and talk with an engineer back at the office about what to do with it. remote visual inspection.
if we could figure out a way to use google glass as the camera/mic for our mobile VC solution.... SWEET.
