you pay Cano, for 5 years....that's one thing. It's that they put 8yrs on guys who don't have 8 years anymore.
ARod, Tex, Sabathia...that alone is like 75mil a year in contract lengths that are just bad.
The Yanks are just late to the game of realizing what everyone else has realized already. 35 is a cliff age. Avoid the cliff.
