We have so many new units being built every year, the city does well to not *drop* rates.

A local scumbag developer fought tooth-and-nail to stop a swath of land being sold for development of rental houses near his home. He won. He then pays 2.5 mil for it and is going to put up apartments buildings, houses, etc.
