auction (and for the record, I'm not among them). It was one thing to see them bid on luxury items because they were actually getting reasonable value for their money (even if it was a lot). But the ones that killed me were where they were essentially bidding on bullshit. Granted, it's for a good cause and I'm sure they look at it that way. But anybody want to guess what the winning bid was for having your kid be "head of school for a day" (which includes getting to pick the school lunch menu for a week, getting to make the day a "spirit day" or "Pajama day" or something like that and go to a meeting, and then have the head of school go to classes with the kid for the afternoon"? Want to guess?
