It was literally 30 feet from the Pit Stop. And it wasn't like it was for first or for elimination. it didn't matter at all. He didn't have to run.
Sucks.
Side note. How would you ever decide to go on the Amazing Race and be afraid of water? You don't think that's coming up at some point?
Amazes me the number of people that get on the show but can't drive stick, swim, paddle a canoe, etc.
