Why didn't anyone tell me? Minecraft is basically a sword and sorcery fantasy RPG with really quirky graphics.

My son's been playing it for a couple of months now. Everything he does reminds me of Ultima Online, from building a house to forging and enchanting weapons and armor. There's even villages with NPCs. Swap out the graphics, and he's playing Everquest or even WoW.
