President is a 4yr job where you are getting hammered by everyone. He's saying the GOP can't survive 6 months of that

Romney ran a bad campaign and the message was bad.
Romney lost the election because he said 47% and Etch-A-Sketch...those weren't caused by debates; they were caused by a bad candidate.
the problem though wasn't that they had too long to make him into a bad candidate, it was that they had a series of bad candidates becuase their voters have a bad message.
You have 2 candidates with winning messages (Obama vs Hillary in 2008), you're fine. You have 7 bad candidates chasing a shitty electorate ... that's just a bad electorate.
Bad candidate, bad message, bad primary electorate. That's the GOP problem. Not the nominating process.
Their first call should be to Roger Ailes. "Roger, you need to do us a favor and stop putting up loudmouths like Beck, stop paying idiots like Palin, stop making Obama the anti-christ becuase listen, our primary voters are fucking crazy and we have to be crazy to get their votes. You've helped cost us the Senate with your Tea Party Patriots, you fucking owe us."
