House of Cards finale was great! (spoilers?)

It plays out like the final episode of The Shield. The same kind of gut wrenching tension you get when you're cornered with no way out. The season finale to Burn Notice tried to capture some of that same tension, too, but it never gave the feeling that events were entirely out of your hands. I'm really curious as to where they go with season 2.
