I just bought a townhouse in august. means they will loan me $7.5k, but if I bought it today they would *give* me $8k. (if it passes)

stupid congress, wasting our money but not on me. ;)
p.s. I didn't even know about any of this until doing my taxes the other day. if only I didn't find out I could have remained ignorantly bliss about the proposal and remained happy
