You can say that the situation is different, but the 70s also didn't have the conservative echo chamber. Plus there are a lot of people that feel as strongly as you do on the other side.

I just have a feeling that the court will be ahead of people again and it will become a wedge issue again when right now it's essentially dead as an issue.
