I'm not sure if I'm opposed to this, since I'm plenty willing to twitter-shame restaurants that don't seat me at the agreed time.

Though there are a lot more reasons a person would legitimately miss and not cancel a reservation vs. reasons for late-seating that a restaurant could legitimately claim as beyond their control.
