I haven't felt very well today, nothing big, a sinus headache (multiple lately - 'tis the season) and general dragginess. I considered going home early, or at least early-for-me; but no:

6 years ago today, right around this time, I was in my vw passat, trying to stay alert while rescue folks were working to get me out of it. I'd left work early-for-me that day, due to a sinus headache.

I know the odds are small for a repeat, and the roads are dry today when they were somewhat wet then; but darned if I'm going to repeat such an unusal thing today.

it feels like longer ago and much more recent all at once. same with some other injuries that happened in the past couple of years. crazycrazy how it's so slow and so fast, for both bad stuff and good (not those injuries!). with the ratio in the mix, I want a do-over!
