since it has a rack, i'd DEFINITELY go with the ortlieb panniers - they have locking rings and are super. get a bike tool for emergencies, and get

some neat lights. i have these ones that look like little short cylinders that i really like - easy on and off, and very low profile, but have a unique look. i'll see if i can find the product name if you're interested...
probably new pedals too :)
