You seem to be saying that public opinion doesn't matter in the Prop 8 case, and if you pay attention to what's going on at SCOTUS, it clearly does. Frankly, even I am surprised by how much it's turning out to matter.
You are rightly concerned with the kind of people who are activists in favor of Prop 8. I agree that FB profile pics are unlikely to change their minds. But, feel free to suggest what would. ;-)
No it's likely that Prop 8 supporters will take their beliefs to the grave, no matter what.
