Racism was allowed to run rampant in Hollywood -- as a matter of law -- for at least 56 years.
If we set the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as a turning point, then we should allow the same amount of time to pass after the turning point as existed before the turning point -- i.e., at least 56 years.
