it really isnt. sure there is a torue arena, you fight there a few times, but it isnt the same as moxi's underdome arena

there are a few "arena" areas in the game.
Natural Selection annex (you fight animals) (was a preorder bonus, now available to everyone)
Hyperion one (you fight hyperion) (part of the game)
Pyro Pete's bar (3 rounds) (Badass crater dlc)
Another in in the forge area (you fight flying jet things) (badass crater dlc)
Also Finks slaughterhouse (5 rounds, part of the original game).
Moxi's underdome had like 100 rounds total if you went through everything.
