In response to "tru, the water does not turn off. My hot water is running constantly." by groiny

i am trying to figure out this then.

the shower is constantly running? ok, so maybe it would be the manifold (behind the wall, its what the knob/knobs connect too).

if you have to replace that, they could cut into just that area from the other side maybe. it depends on a few things.

also, i think that can be replaced without removing all the tiles, if you are willing to just have them put a different tile up in the area they cut (or you put the tiles up, whatever).

the only reason i can think of that they would need to rip down the whole wall is to replace all piping in there, and i dont see why they would.
