I love them and they cover it exactly how the Masters wants it covered.

if they aren't reverential, the Masters goes elsewhere. About 20 years ago, someone made a joke about there being body bags stacked behind one of the greens for how many people it had killed....and he was summarily removed from coverage. And basically said, yep, I woulda fired me too.
The Masters has (this might have changed in the last few years) always done a year by year tv contract, so if you don't kiss their ring, they go to ABC or NBC who will kiss their ring without question.
