Hey, was it you that ordered the DC of Kingdom of Heaven?
I thought I saw that flying through backboards last night. Anyway, if it was, I was going to tell you how amazing it is. We saw the original in the theater. Some parts I really liked, but the flow was off, it was choppy, and there were too many things integral to the plot that were left out. Crash liked it more than me so when the DC came out, he bought it. He finally convinced me to watch it with him and I was amazed. It was a totally different movie. I have never seen such a dramatic change in theater release vs director's cut in any other movie. All I know is, Ridley Scott should be really pissed off with whichever network studio person forced him into the cuts he had to make.
