I don't think a possible war with [insert home country of a terrorist here] is the cause of the fear though.

It's not the cause of mine. Or my mother's. Can't speak for Bery.
Of course I don't *want* war with (yet another) country, but that's not what had me inexplicably wishing this wasn't a foreign.
