The only problem with the 24 hour Zyrtek type allergy medication is what happens if you can't remember if you took one. Do you have to just skip it? -- nm

when I took it as a prescription, the maximum daily dose was 20mg (so 2 regular doses). there wasn't much extra benefit beyond 10, though. -- nm - b. Apr 16, 12:04
