I'm thinking that the problem w/ Dreamcatcher is that it was a great book, but just doesn't translate at all onto the big screen ...

that was a hot steaming mess that should never have happened .... I remember going to see it at the theater (yes, I'll admit to that) ... and there were a few people in the audience who were openly laughing at several parts of the movie ...
