They officially announced it today and tried to get the friendly partner to repeat the party line and she wouldn't, which caused some serious friction (she's retiring soon and shares the same concerns so she'd never do it). They have at most 5 years after the major partner retires (which could be any time) before the firm collapses. There's going to be a complete exodus of all the younger staff in the next 6 months.
