I thought so as well. I hate them but I think they're larger than 10x10 and they have kitchens. We're putting regular people in glorified prison

All I hear about are these micro apartments. I have a feeling it's a massive windfall for the developers and owners of the properties.

When I say the city I mean developers mostly. They're working with the city to build more affordable housing.

I would say they f'ed up by not stepping in when they saw the people being forced farther and farther from the city and their jobs.

Here's something I wonder, that might be an interesting case study. You say "worst areas of the worst neighborhoods"

The areas won't change since because the people that live in the city buildings around them won't change.

But these apartments wouldn't work in those areas. Those areas are crammed with families, not single people.

My understanding is that the City *is* building micro apartments

No shit...you'd have to buy one of those vacuum sealers and keep all your clothes in suctioned up little baggies, I guess. -- nm
