When I say the city I mean developers mostly. They're working with the city to build more affordable housing.

They're getting sweet tax/savings deals to build these micro apartments as well as the 80/20 buildings.

Market forces shouldn't be the deciding factor for what we build. The fact that we look around and see that we need better housing for the middle class and poor. One only needs to look around Manhattan to know that we fucked up. The middle class and working class have been pushed completely out of Manhattan and now we're being pushed out of the boroughs.

Where are the people that work in those jobs that are middle income supposed to live?
