Does anyone have the DirecTV Genie? Do you like it?

My roommate wants to upgrade our boxes. Time to see what all this HD stuff is about. :-)

They're not offering it for free but for $99. :-( Still cheaper than any other box they sell.

Maybe we should cancel and then try and sign up again and see if they'll give it to us for free as new customers. ;-) I was kind of hoping they'd give it to us for free since we've been customers for a while and haven't gotten any kind of an upgrade before. My box is from 2005.
