I've said it before, but worth repeating. For all his insanity, Phillip played it the best way possible. He directed his alliance to stick to their original plan. Of course, his hand was forced by Malcolm's admission that they were going to vote for Phillip, so maybe Phillip wasn't so smart, after all. Didn't matter. He would have gone home either way.
