when candice has been "on" - and she has been pretty much all season - she has been right up there with the best they've ever had.

last night's show really ticked me off, though - all of a sudden, unexpectedly and inexplicably, they spent half+ of the show downplaying her and kree and really pushing amber, even when she was *bad* in her second song (macarthur park). there just had to be producer encouragement there, as it made no sense, was as if they were listening to something completely different than anyone else, etc. - she was offkey in parts, varied weak and strong, and ugh.
