i don't think that's necessarily a reason not to try. but it is a reason to take any potential theories or IDs as potentially unreliable

there were many public photos on flickr, imgur, etc. taken of the bombing sites at or around the time of the explosions, so it's not out of the realm of possibilities that whoever planted the bombs could have been captured in one or more of the photos
