I think there is value (ex.: a lot of the photographic identification was crowdsourced), but no one should look to anyone but authorities for real

legit info. reddit is people gabbing, like we do here - it's possible they could have done better, but there should be no expectation of it.
I think we on ST knew how to take what they were saying, but not everyone did.
a real big failure was some MSM passing along info. as if it was from legit sources and confirmed (from more than one source or at least saying it was just one something was coming from), that's what's deserving of more criticism, imo.
