In response to "I am just speculating on the future. Young teams vs. Older ones" by Bacon

The Ravens got younger this season.

Hard not to do when Ray Lewis retires, and Matt Birk joins him.

They draft well, entered this draft with 12(?) picks, and have set themselves up to likely have 10+ picks again next year.

And Pittsburgh seems to have a drop every once in a while that has people predicting their demise as a good team, but that drop rarely lasts longer than a season. Then (unfortunately) they're right back in the playoffs for a few more years.

Polamalu has had injury issues for a while. That won't change, but it didn't stop them from making the playoffs at least a couple times. Yes, they need to improve their running game. But they could do that during the draft, or after. I don't think Wallace will be missed as much as others think he will.

Didn't the 49'ers just lose one of their very good DBs? That sounds like a salary issue already. I don't know the cap situation for either team, but I doubt both are years away from having issues. And the longest tenure of either of those QBs is one season.

You may end up being right, but you're being a bit premature.

But the Steelers/Ravens doesn't correlate to Seattle/San Fran as the type of games (and the hatred between some of the players) isn't the same. It isn't likely you'll see one of the top Niners guys wearing a shirt saying "you bet your sweet ass I hate the Seahawks" and mean it.
