Also, they keep talking about the Lodox scanner (again probably suggested by our surgeons because we have on too). It is x-ray that can scan the whole body in 13 seconds. I think it cost about $1M. I don't think I have ever seen it used. The trauma patients get CT scans. And for bones they typically just get dedicated films of the area in question.
