Some musicians can be replaced but for singers it's another story.

Some people are okay with it when it happens. For example, Alice In Chains replaced Layne Staley and some people think the new guy is fine. I don't but that's just my opinion. It doesn't sound right and I can't listen to someone else sing the songs he sang.
And that goes for just about every group.
