there are certain lasagna noodles that are specially processed so you don't boil them first. otherwise, you boil first. -- nm

I made a chicken lasagna last night with the no cook noodles. cream of chicken & mushroom soups for the sauce, not tomato. it worked fine -- nm

Even with regular noodles, if you add extra water and cover while you cook, the noodles will cook. -- nm
