sometimes it works out - like "ER" came back from inconsistency to be mostly good, other times notsomuch.

for "the following," it was posting about the things that were wrong with it here that made me realize I needed to stop - it actually made me feel bad instead of being entertaining or educational or some other kind of positive; but, if it was something I'd watched for longer, that probably would have been harder.

I'm getting better at being tv-cutthroat in general, though, woo.
