maybe someone left a skull full of prridge by the fire and went to sleep, it dried out while fermentation had started, but remember beer...

Is what started civilization as we know it (established villages) so they could max their barley gathering, I'm thinking bread was actually dried grains left over and more like crappy granola bar than anything we'd consider bread
