Offer REJECTED. Not even a counter-offer. Seller's agent says she's not budging after dropping the price 10k since it was first put on the market...

LAST JUNE!
We think she knows the other end unit (same size/layout) just sold for 10k more than she's asking. My agent told her agent that unit didn't need 20k of upgrades since it looked like they recently did 30k worth. (It was only on the market 16 days.)
My agent advises I walk away. I am since I don't want to spend a bunch of money to update the unit at the price she's asking.
It doesn't help that I just heard on the news that prices are up nationally due to lower than usual inventory this time of year. Oh well, no rush to move.

I know it sucks but the best thing you can do is clearly spell out you are interested at your price. If that's no good, never contact them again.

You can laugh at them gleefully when you're in your lovely new house and theirs is still on the market. -- nm
