No, she loved Segal, even though he was a terrible student. Great creative writer, terrible at the stuff that didn't interest him.

(eg, the time he referred to a character from a novel as "Mr Wiggum" throughout his essay)

She also taught Maggie Gyllenhaal, who was a real sweetheart.
