Adobe, for all their asshole-ness, is winning the video editing wars with Premiere. Apple dropped the ball with Final Cut.

When professional shops are kicking Final Cut to the curb, that's bad. I expected Avid to pick up the market, but it's Adobe that's benefiting due to its native support of numerous formats without the need to convert.
