Another job application question

For my previous experience they asked for a contact person and permission to contact them. I assume it's a good idea not to use them as one of the three letters of recommendation to get more references in there???

        as I said before, I've seen it both ways for recs/refs. calls/emails are more common than letters for corporate jobs, in my experience. - b! May 1, 21:46
