I think Rob and Kim are the wrong comparisons, because their style of play is completely different. Both were the dominant players who led their alliance from the start, and they managed to reach the end of the game being respected enough by the people in their alliance to win their votes.
Cochran's strategy is more like Parvati's and Sandra's. Make the right alliances, be the person everyone can talk to, let the leaders take the hits, if things go completely pear-shaped then be the available vote, etc.
I wouldn't say he's a Parvati or a Sandra. I'd put him at the Todd Herzog level. Better than Natalie from Redemption Island, or Bob from Gabon.
