This was the letter signed by 160+ leading economists including 6 Nobel laureates, which warned of the impending collapse of our economy unless certain measures were acted upon, immediately. The usual talk radio and Fox news pundits mocked it and accused these professors of "fear mongering". Our president of course, ignored it. Ironically, the signees were more correct than they ever could have imgined, not that it does us any good now.
