I replied to you above and I don't doubt that Nobel laureates were signees of that letter, just as Nobel laureates were signees of the letter I posted

on B2. That there was a letter penned by economists to Bush doesn't serve to diminish the veracity of the claims made by this particular letter to this particular President.
I blame all politicians, and more specifically their economic advisors for poor economic policy with regards to Presidential decisions. As for Congress, well, their intransigence in being unwilling to reform Fannie and Freddie in any way as put forth by Bush 03/04 just serves to demonstrate the mess politicians can make when they put their minds to it.
