It's pretty clear that you're a Bush apologist, unwilling to place any blame where it truly belongs. We had a president more interested in going down in history as the saviour of the middle east rather than one who took care of business at home. At the time the Fannie and Freddie reforms were finally discussed, there was a partisan congress. If he'd really wanted his agenda passed then it would have. Sadly, his handlers had other ideas and were busy getting rich on the side.
Right now, I'm ready to kick my own ass for wasting the time and energy for even responding to you. I've been making a huge effort to keep it light and not engage in pointless political discussions with people who don't debate facts or who use "sponsored evidence" to back up their points. I apologize for backsliding and will do my best to not do it again. Carry on.
