I can't help but think that preconceived notions are affecting current opinions (Survivor spoils)

It seems that opinions of a player like Cochran (or Coach in his good season) are so negative coming into the season that no matter what they do, those opinions never change.
I fully believe that if a never before seen player, or a player already thought to be a solid player (let's use Rob Cesternino as an example) were to come in and play the exact game Cochran is playing, they'd be talked about as a very solid player playing a good game amongst lesser competition.
But, since we don't like Cochran (think he's dumb and horrible) coming in...he is not getting credit for the good he is doing. All of the game play last night was spot on...both votes, Tribal...it was all incredibly well played and to not acknowledge it, I think, shows bias against the kid from a previous season.
