If it's a truly bi guy, that's one thing. But a lot of these cases are actually gay guys who claim to be straight (or bi if they are at least letting part of the truth in). So the marry a girl to be 'normal' and get what they really want on the side.
And many of them justify to themselves. In crazy ways. See: B2
